I just fetched my 990 invoice. Lucky as I am, <sarcasm ON> it's dated october 30, 2007, so I'm mere days outside the 10 years time frame... I'm in Canada, so I need to add to the sale price : additionnal shipping fee, custom fee, both Canadian sale taxes and the curency exchange rate. Of course, none of this are Outlaw's fault! But the 100$ rebate would have softened the deal for me! I understand Outlaw wanting a cutoff date, but as was pointed out already, the initial offer made no mention of a time-limit. On top of that, the actual release date was pushed for months from june to a yet to be announced date. Oh well.

I read through much of the excellent manual of the 976 and I wonder if there will be any future or additional information on how to incorporate REW with the 976. I am really interested in how to send the correction files from REW to the 976. I have read the guides for REW and it sounds like the correction files will be exported to the 976 once you are done saving your files.

Just got my pre-order in - Thank You Outlaws. I can't wait to hear and see what the electrons sound and look like after running their way through the 976.
Did I miss it? What is the story on what/who and where the Blue Tooth receiver will come from?

Did I miss it? What is the story on what/who and where the Blue Tooth receiver will come from? Pg. 20 of the manual explains the Bluetooth. I believe Outlaw will offer an optional BT module that connects to the back of the 976.

So flipping through the manual, it looks like there's seven total inputs allowed (6 HDMI and TV for ARC) plus the Tuner and Bluetooth. Counting the Bluetooth input, that's three more than the 975. That's a cool count, and six years ago it mattered to me... - Oppo
- Nintendo Wii (Only the one gaming system for me!)
- Laserdisc
- Legacy S-VHS
- HTPC
- Aux input for MHL (phones)
- Roku
- Dish Tuner
- WD Media Center
But that was then. Now it's down to... And the only reason for the Roku is that my TV is a (2-yr old) top-of-the-line Samsung Tizen, which means great picture, terrible apps and software. It sort-of supports a lot, but the Roku is more reliable. Still have a PC and Nintendo, never turn them on. Cut the cord a long time ago also. The rest have been replaced with TV or Roku apps/channels or casting and the ethernet. Out of curiosity, how many devices do you (forum at large) regularly use?

Having looked at the manual, I would have liked to have the ability to re-name the inputs which isn't available.
