Sorry, that was my initial reaction. Outlaw has expended lots of effort in answering questions about future products, explaining why original estimated ship dates were missed, etc, so they've adopted a policy of near-silence about future product details, especially regarding mass production and ship dates, because there are so many external influences on such. We'll just have to be patient.

I'm reminded of what I was told a number of years ago when I was looking to upgrade:
"If you buy an Outlaw you'll get something that will outperform anything in it's price range but you'll get it only after Outlaw is satisfied that it meets or exceeds their expectations because they won't ship until it does."
So I bought one. Then I bought another one. Then I bought a third one...

OK, the summer solstice is here, so it's time to give us a little fresh info on the new pre/pro  I can't buy a 4K/UHD TV until an HDMI 2.0 capable, HDCP compliant, 60FPS Pre/pro from Outlaw becomes available. I undestand color and image specs are being rewritten, and as an equipment developer that would be reason to wait, but we want news from Outlaws that's fresher than 1/24/15.....

Love to see Outlaw finally **** rather than just perpetually remaining on the pot. Guys there will always be a better one down the road. There is no such thing as a futureproof smartphone.

New processor is in the works right now and is currently slated to be out around the start of summer. Just checking in at the Saloon to see if there is anything to report on Outlaw's new pre/pro. My 990 is hanging in there so no need purchase anything now but it is getting really "long in the tooth". I don't want to purchase a 975 as a stop gap when the new pre/pro is just around the corner. So, Outlaw, when might we hear about the new pre/pro?
