Just taking a poll, which speakers do you guys think offer the most value for the dollar? Axiom, Apeerion, Ascend , Rockets, Tyler Acoustics, Def Techs, Paradigm, ...others etc?

Also, anyone ever heard Tyler Acoustics Speakers firsthand?

It's hard to define what speakers offer the best "bang for the buck" because speaker preference is often heavily dependent on personal taste. I'm fond of Paradigm Reference, and the pair of Axioms I've got certainly do well (especially considering their price).

I recently bought Ohm for my whole system. I can't say enough great things about the speakers, as well as the company, in terms of customer service.

While we are on the subject guys, anybody have any strong preferences for outdoor speakers? I was at our local Tweeter store that is closing up, and they had Polk Atrium speakers on discount, but I can't really find any reviews on the internet.

Apologies to gooomz for hijacking the thread...

My personal preference in outdoor speakers is Niles Audio, I've had a pair of OS-25's hanging over my patio for five years and they still sound great!

I designed and installed a backyard audio system for a friend using two pairs of Polk Atrium 55's I found on eB*y for a VERY good price. He loves the sound and I have to say I would recommend the Atriums without hesitation. I would suggest you check out prices on eB*y before pulling the trigger at Tweeter.

I now return the thread to it's regularly scheduled discussion...
