There's a PDF of the Rotel RCD-1072 that might interest you. It has left/right analog outputs plus a coaxial digital output (and power, trigger, and external remote connections of course). There's also a user\'s manual for the RCD-1072.

Well, it is a bit more expensive, but I have heard the Rega Apollo. It is amazing. It is a bit out of my price range, but I am thinking about saving up. I heard it with a Musical Fidelity Integrated amp and a variety of speakers. That has to be the best CD player I have ever heard.

I'll chime in. I am using an older NAD cd player and it far surpasses my Pioneer dvd for cd only.

I stopped and took a look at the Rotel 1072 at the local hi-fi joint. I could get 10% off if I opened a store credit account - well worth it if you ask me. I'd just pay it off quick/immediately for that kind of discount. I asked about bringing in some music and the guy said I could just take it home and demo it for a week. Very cool. I'm going to look into the NAD's more before making up my mind. Will keep you guys posted. Thanks!

I'm very curious as to whether you purchase the Rotel 1072. Please let us know what you think of it, if and when you do get your new CD player. After speaking with Lizard King, I just purchased a Denon 3930ci. I'm reading the manual now and playing with it. One of the only reasons that I went for it is the ability to play SACD and DVD-A as well as CD's. Have fun with whatever you decide to do.

I have the 3930Ci and soon I should be using it as I am preparing shelves to be mounted on the wall in the studs.

For a full HT experience, I mean all around the Denon 3930ci is a reference grade unit that excels in video and all types of audio.

This particular unit won Audioholics 2006 product of the year for the DVD category.

The rotel as I am not too aware of is a Redbook /sacd player?

HT means A/V so Denon should win hands down!

PS. Make sure when you use a high end unit such as the Denon that use use the Players Dacs (High End burr Brown Current Dacs) to decode the digital signal and use high end analog interconnects to your Outlaw Pre-Pro/Receiver.

As per the All Knowing Gonk, use a digital coax (75 ohm Coax) to output Movies soundtracks to the Outlaw to have the Outlaw process the surround sound matrix. Use the Denon's awesome audio for Music.
