Need some advice here or correction.
I have the 990 and the Chordette Gem which is a Bluetooth device and it also has USB Type A to B connection.
As the Chordette is connected now I am using it strictly in Bluetooth mode and it operates fine listening to music thru my B&W 804S speakers.
However I recently purchased a pair of Dynaudio Focus 110A speakers which are active speakers with their own built in 50Watt amplifier. According to instructions in the Chordette website to activate the USB signal all I have to do is switch the input setting on the Chordette. Connecting type A -B type USB from the Chordette to my Mac to stream music.
This is my question. Doing this setup requires also that I would have to disconnect the left and right inputs from the 990 and connect them to the Focus 110A's.
What about volume control.
Is there another way I can have my cake and eat it to or would I have to buy another DAC with volume control.
