Samsung goes Flaghsip receiver!

Your link doesn't seem to be working, at least on my end. Is this the same receiver that they announced last last January? It looks interesting but I wonder if it will ever come to market as it has missed its target date a few times already. I believe March 2006 is now the latest release date they are giving. I think at that price range its going to have some serious branding problems considering the competition it will have. I mean, would somebody who was looking to spend really big bucks rather have a Lexicon, Anthem, Krell or Samsung?

The link works for me. Interesting. DVI AND HDMI switching with HDCP. It also uses digital amplification (250wpc X 7 @8ohms), though there are no specifics listed. I'll be curious to see if this ever winds up being a shipping product. The projected list price is US$5k. If it has the usual Samsung street pricing discount then it might prove to be an interesting piece of gear.
