I'm getting rid of mine also in my main system... I've updated the firmware, still have the quirky issues.... no audio, in order to power up have to select multiple times and/or unplug-replug, loud hissing noise at times, etc. All of which are very embarrassing when have guests over & I'm the "audio" guy of the group... I'm replacing it w/a Rotel 1075 amp that I recently purchased & an Emotiva Pre/Pro the MMC-1 or whatever pre/pro they have after I saved enough $$...
As others have stated, the sound quality of the 1070 is AWESOME so I'm keeping it around for a second application in my basement...
