There are some devices that output Dolby Digital Plus (the Vudu player being one obvious example) and there may be a few SACD players around that can output DSD without being Blu-ray players. There are also DVD players that will output multichannel PCM over HDMI - any universal DVD player (DVD/DVD-Audio/SACD) made in the last five years or so will likely have HDMI and be able to output multichannel PCM.
