Any Roxy Music fans out there? Just found this hip clip. A little bassy, but boy, is the energy there. Thought I'd share…

I just finished ripping Street life/20 years of Roxy music to Apple lossless. Far and away my favorite cuts are "More than this" and "Avalon."

It just occurred to me that that clip is so bassy 'cause the poster was spotlighting bass-guitarist John Wetton, who celebrated a birthday last weekend.

Avalon's also a personal fave. This is an earlier, harder rocking version of the band, but what's interesting to me is that even then Bryan Ferry exhibited that Avalon-esque coolness at the center of the whirlwind. It's like, "Where did those longhairs find that singer?"

Rob Wasserman's recordings have some low end.
