Less may be more when affording the less is better than not affording the more, and still getting something in return.

This, of course, is not always true. I've had many more instances where I waited, sometimes years, to find bargains or save up for specific items I had in mind. Other times, I've been surprised by what comes for not too much.

Is this one example?

"A $25 speaker an audiophile can love" http://news.cnet.com/8301-13645_3-20005175-47.html

What have you found along these lines, in this or other catagories?

(I know that some would prefer versions made in 'the West' and consider it an even better bargain for twice the price.)
