Does anyone have an ICBM in solid working condition that they are not using and want to sell? If so, please let me know. I am in the market for one and just missed an opportunity on Audiogon. My e-mail address is echristian@akingump.com
Thanks in advance.
Ed.

Check ebay. There is one for sale, supposedly it is new, with the auction ending in 36 hours. Starting bid is $150. Hope you get it. I have one and use its as a high and low pass filter with a vintage Pioneer integrated amp for my satellite speakers and sub. The ICBM does a fine job.

AvFan, thanks for the lead; but, unfortunately, I cannot find the ebay auction of the ICBM. Go figure....

AvFan, thanks a bunch for the information. I found it this time. I guess I learned a lesson to not trust general searches because a general (i.e. no category selected) "outlaw" search does not pick it up, neither does "outlaw audio", and neither does "outlaw ICBM". I guess I will start searching on ebay only after I first select a category such as electronics! Thanks again.

Cool! I really like mine. It allows me to use my HT speakers with my vintage integrated amp. How are you going to use your ICBM?

AvFan, I plan to use my ICBM for bass management on my outdoor Zone 2 system. Based on various discussions I have had in here, I am splitting my Outlaw 990's Zone 2 output for inside and outside use. The Zone 2 inside portion is connected to an impedence correcting 6 zone speaker selector for inside ambiance stereo ceiling speakers in 6 separate downstairs zones in my house, without any subwoofer (but usually the main system and subwoofers are on so I get decent bass throughout the downstairs). The Zone 2 outside portion will be connected first to the ICBM then connected to a Russound DPA 6.12 12 zone 50 watt per channel distribution amplifier (that I picked up for $500 on Audiogon!). At the Russound amp, I will bridge all the channels to have 6 100 watt channels. I will connect the ICBM stereo (mid and high end) outputs to the buss/distribution input of the Russound amp and power 2 separate outside stereo zones at 100 watts per channel and running 2 Boston Acoustics RK8T2 rock speakers (4 speakers total) in each stereo zone. I will also connect the ICBM subwoofer output to one direct channel input of the Russound amp and power 1 subwoofer at 100 watts (right now I am leaning toward either the Boston Acoustics Voyager outdoor sub, the Rockustics Sub Jr., or perhaps some other outdoor subwoofer). At some future point, I will likely take the sub off the Russound Amp, and connect the sub to its own 200 watt (or more) amp, and add a third outside stereo zone onto the Russound amp. I can't wait to hear how this turns out!

Your intended use makes my simple stereo high/low pass look a little pedestrian! I don't know if there is any other product that could do what the ICBM is going to do for you in that set up. Maybe something on the pro audio product... When you get it all hooked up you will certainly be able to rock (pun intended) your whole house! Let me know how it turns out.

When we designed the ICBM several years ago, out of a very real need in early DVD players, we never anticipated that years later it would become a valuable (and useful) collector's item .
We have always debated whether or not to return to this area with a 7.2 version, We are still not convinced that there is enough interest to move ahead. However, these threads always make us think about it.
