Is there a way to trim the sub volume when in stereo mode? I know you can use the test button and punch enter twice to adjust it in dolby, but it doesn't seem to let you do that in stereo. From my experience the only speakers that can be trimmed in stereo mode are the mains. Correct? Kind of a bummer if that's so, I'll bet the majority of users employ their sub when listening to music in stereo.
I too have never heard of the 990 offering this type of adjustment but I listen to a lot of 2.1 music (in bypass) and it is a pain to turn on the TV and switch to the 990 menu to adjust the L, R, or sub. A simple stereo balance adjustment is often all I need. Can you describe the steps used to trim the sub volume when in Dolby mode and the L & R in stereo? Does it make permanent changes to the trim settings or are they temporary?
