Hi, I am in need of a new power cord for my 7500 as I need a longer length. I figured this would be a good time to try an inexpensive aftermarket cable from Signal Cable. I am wondering what type of connection is on the amp end as it is not the standard 15 amp IEC type. It looks like a 20 amp version though. Is it a 20 amp configuration or is it something else?
Thanks
Svet

I agree that the power connection looks like a 20A IEC and not the standard 15A IEC, and it looks like Signal Cable offers that option for no additional charge.

Hi Gonk, thanks for the response! I just think it is odd to have a 20 amp IEC end into a 15 amp male end. I've never seen that before in any of my other gear so I just wanted to make sure it isn't some Outlaw proprietary doodad.

Hi Svet. I did just what you are suggesting and received the power cord from Signal Cable. It is the 20A IEC and NOT the standard 15A IEC. It fits like a glove. Frank provides the 20A IEC at no additional charge.
