Sometimes the analog video output from my 970 looks horrible. The best way I can describe it is by comparing it to a solarized photograph (in case you happen to know what that effect is) or a little like a digital photo reproduced on a 16-color monitor. The contrast is extremely high, the colors tend to be shown in large monochromatic blocks, and there is no detail at all. It's just wrong.
I've had this problem for as long as I've had my 970, but it happens only in certain circumstances, which I usually seem able to avoid, so I've generally just ignored it. Does anyone recognize what I'm trying to describe or have any idea what causes it? It sometimes seems to go away after a period of time, but I'm not sure about that since 90% of my viewing is digital.
thanks for any suggestions,
Bruce
