I am now setting up a 7.1 system. How can I bi-amp my subs? I would like to use 2 subs. They are however just passive:no built-in amp. I have a pre/pro,7.1 amp and (2) stereo amps. Would this bi-amped system be considered as having stereo subs? Oops! Sorry for the dumb questions.

If you have passive subs, you will need an external electronic crossover (and stereo amplifier) to do this setup. The Outlaw ICBM will accommodate stereo subs, but I beleive that it has a fixed crossover frequency of 80Hz in it's stereo sub mode. If this crossover frequency is OK with you, you might give investigate this.

I assume this is what you mean by "bi-amping"........

Yeah.Thanks. I was trying to do a setup as was suggested by you Soundhound.i plugged a 'Y' connector in the LFE spot and then ran 2 iterconects to my old B&K Pro600.Have'nt tried it yet. I am having a problem getting my Center and Left Surround channels going.
My system is Outlaw950/7100 with a pair of my old B&W 802's infront And Axiom m22ti's rear,QS8 sides and VP100 centre. Alas I can't yet get it going.

SH, I was reading through the ICBM manual and I did not see any mention of the Stereo mode locking everything at an 80Hz crossover. I would like to know if this is 'rumor' or truth. Perhaps it's time to ask an Outlaw.
