I'm not quite done with my theater yet, so I've only gotten to use my 970 a few times. I was working in there on Thursday and after about 5 minutes of playing the sound level dropped substantially but kept playing. I lost all bass from the sub, and turning it up to -15db resulted in horribly distorted sound. Why would it be that all 7 channels still work but the sound reproduction suffers? I tested analog and digital inputs and even brought it upstairs and ran in through the analog ins in my kenwood. Do I need to wait for an RMA or is there something silly I'm missing

I'm bumping this to the top since my RMA'd 970 just started doing this again and I can't find an answer in any other posts.

Has anyone ever experienced this issue? The support team told me to upgrade the firmware, but that did nothing.
