Will the 970 pass any video signal, regardless of input source (composite, s-video, etc...) to a monitor with a DVI input, or does it only pass a DVI source?

I ask because I connected my 970 to my monitor via DVI, but the signal is not showing up at the monitor (I have one composite source and one component source, but no DVI source). I also have a component video connection which is showing up just fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.....

The DVI output only passes the DVI inputs - it does not transcode from analog (composite, s-video, component) to digital (DVI).
