I doubt very much that the Outlaws design remotes. They probably only design the silkscreen and programming for the 1050's remote. It's a pretty good remote, though.

I think there is also some sort of Radio Shack remote that is very similar. It would be nice if the Outlaws released codes for the remote so that an arbitrary programmable remote could be used with the 1050 (and presumably the 950).

The Catalyst 48 is the 1050's remote; I've seen some other manufacturers using it with different silkscreens on it. I think someone else posted a link to UEI in an old thread about the remote and Radio Shack's now-discontinued 15-1994 remote -- and the 15-1994 does share a lot of codes with the 1050's remote.

It will be curious to see if Outlaw uses UEI for the 950's remote...
