I am shopping for a set of monoblock amps to use with my Denon receiver (as a pre/pro) and Paradigm speakers.
The Outlaw 2200's are top contenders.
They look extremely similar to the NHT A1 monoblock. I asked NHT for the story and they said both amps were designed by the same outsourced company. Interesting that neither NHT or Outlaw actually design their amps.
Does anyone know what the differences are between these two products?
Which is better?
It looks like the NHT is class G at all levels and the Outlaw is class AB up to around 100W and then class G above that. Is that a real design difference or just a spec difference? Which is better?
The prices are about the same. The NHT lists for a bit more but I can get it discounted to the same price as the Outlaw.
Thanks,
Dan
