I went through this forum couple weeks ago and cannot wait to try the 1070 that I have just ordered one last week to replace my 3 week old pioneer 1016.
Any suggestions for initial setup the 1070 with my Klipsc?
I am current really happy with the Pioneer performance but I expected the 1070 will do much better.

Congratulations on ordering the 1070 - I think you'll like it. As you've already discovered, there's a good crowd around here for answering any questions that might pop up (for example, the remote's power button is a discrete "off" command and all of the input buttons - DVD, Video1, etc. - double as discrete power "on" commands).


Some bass management thoughts for the Klipch's:
Front crossover: 40Hz (although you might also try 60Hz)
Center crossover: 80Hz
Surround crossover: 100Hz (although you might also try 80Hz)
Assuming there's a sub in the mix - if there isn't, of course, the fronts would want to be large (at which point the front crossover is disregarded), the sub would need to be disabled in the 1070's menu, and the other crossovers would still apply.
