"Though neither the most powerful nor full-featured AVR at its price, Outlaw's 65wpc model 1070 offers video upconversion, DVI switching and sound quality that can please even finicky audiophiles. TPV senior contributing writer Manoj Motwani says the 1070 "serves up wonderfully smooth and natural highs," adding that "the receiver's bass drive capabilities are suprisingly good, too."
