hello all and thanks for reply. I was just wondering on how to view the latest firmware on my 1070 a/v. I did try to push the mute and the menu button but I do not get any display of firmware on my 1070 a/v osd..don't know did I not push the right button or not...any help is appreciated...

The unit needs to be on already and on a video input that allows onscreen menu pop-ups (the front input would be a good choice) and with the TV on. Pushing both MUTE and MENU on the front panel should then produce a couple lines of text on the TV, including the version number. Does any of that help?
thanks...yes it does help. all these time I thought the firmware would appear on the 1070 a/v osd....okay i see my firmware is the latest one i'd update...06.05.10 firmware...
