I am waiting on my 1070 to arrive this week. Reading the manual and came to the crossover section.
Anyone know what defines the specific crossover freqs? Are they spec'd as -3db points, -6db?
More importantly, what is the slope of the crossover and does the slope of the subwoofer filter match?
OK- last one for now...
Does the crossover point on the sub move to match what is set for the other speakers? Which ones?
I assume so since there is no crossover point select for the sub...
If the crossover for the L/R is set at 40Hz and the center is 100Hz, are both of those signals below crossover point mixed and sent to sub?
Etc. for the rest of the system speakers?

I'm not sure what the slopes are for the 1070's crossovers, but the sub itself doesn't have a crossover - it gets a summed signal from the LFE and the low-passed data from each speaker. This way, no data is lost due to differing crossover points.
