I am thinking about getting a 1070, but I had a few concerns about my particular set-up, and if the 1070 will be a good fit.

It seems that the 1070 seems best suited for highly efficient speakers in small-mid size rooms. I am not quite sure what constitutes high effeciency for speakers, or what is really considered a small-mid size room.

Here are my specs: I have a 16x20x8 living room. I am driving PSB Image B25's in the front with a C40 for the center. My surrounds and powered sub are left over from an old Kenwood HTIB system, and will hopefully be replaced in the not too distant future. The fronts have a sensitivity of 91db, and the center is 92db. They are 6 ohms nominal, 4 ohm min. I think the 65 watts in the 1070 will be plenty, but I am concerned about the lower than normal impedance load my speakers present.

Is the 1070 a good fit? I haven't seen too many posts about people using PSB speakers with Outlaw gear. Lot's of PSB users favor NAD, which is fine, but I really like the feature set of the 1070.

Any ideas?

I use PSB speakers - Century Series (1000i, 200ci, 600i), and have had no problems. The 1000i's are 4 ohm, and the 1070 has no problem driving them - in fact they sound better with the 1070 than with my old reciever. I think that you will be very happy with how your PSB speakers will sound with the 1070 (set at 4 ohm).
