Hi there,

I just got my 1070 yesterday and I'm working on getting it set up. Everything seems to be working great, except for the FM tuner presets. I'm trying to get the FM tuner presets programmed; on page 41 of the manual it says that this can be done automatically by holding down the memory button for 3 seconds. I've tried this several times now but I'm not having any luck! I've gone so far as to time myself while I hold down the button to make sure I'm getting the full three seconds. Is there something I'm missing here?

I just got mine last week. I'll be trying to set up the FM tonight. If I get it to work I will post what I did.

I'm sure someonen will answer your quesiton before then. Very helpful forum!

I don't have a 1070, so I'm speaking from a bit of looking at the manual and from past experience with my old Model 950 (since the 1070 borrowed a lot of interface behavior from the 950). You may have done both of these already, but I would first make sure the remote had a clear shot at the 1070's IR sensor and would probably try holding the button down until something started to happen (even if that ends up being four seconds). Beyond that, I'm not sure - but somebody who actually owns a 1070 or 970 may have some useful insight. smile

Hello again,

First, thanks to everyone who's replied so far - I appreciate the feedback.

I've tried and tried, but I still can't get this to work correctly. Here's what I'm doing so far:

1. Entering the tuner mode by pressing 'AM/FM' on the remote.
2. Switch to FM by again pressing 'AM/FM'.
3. Pressing and holding 'Memory' for 3-4 seconds. The display changes to read 'MEM01' for a couple seconds, then changes to 'PSET01'. Nothing else happens.

Anyone else have any ideas? What am I missing here?

I can't say I've ever tried using the radio yet, but maybe you need to use the preset button on the 1070 itself?
