Reports are that the 990 is the best sound by an outlaw product. This thing has been likened to the Anthem AVM30 processor.

Some have reported in these forums that for movie listening the 1070, 970 and 990 are close. I guess that it depends on how critically you listen.

I would tell you as a 970 owner that it is a great product and I'm sure that if you upgraded to the 1070 you would be quite happy.

I think that with a 6.1 system you would hook up the center back channel to the Left Surround Back.

I would call Outlaw to verify that one.
