Can the 1070 decode MPEG audio tracks? I have some dvds with mpeg audio tracks that I don't get any sound on when hooked up to the 1070. Is there a setting I need to turn on or is MPEG decoding not supported?

I do not believe that the 1070 can decode this audio, but I'm not exactly sure what the format in question is. The DVD standard is to use either Dolby Digital (any number of channels) or PCM for audio. If the discs are using a different audio format, I'm wondering if the audio output is running into trouble at the player. Are these discs commercial DVD's or DVD-R's? If they're DVD-R's, how have they been mastered?
It is MPEG-1 Layer2 audio which is part of the PAL DVD spec and optional on the NTSC spec but most players can pass it on to the receiver. This is a NTSC disc I mastered using Toast on a mac.
