How does the 1070 compare to the 1050 ? Is it worth an upgrade? Also i know the 990 is just a pre.. but is it a worth while upgrade to that from the 1050?

It seems to me that the 1070 compares more closely to the 950, as aside from the amp section (which relates back to the 1050, with each offering 65W per channel) the features and capabilities are basically an evolution of the 950. From that perspective, the 1070 would likely be a very satisfying upgrade from the 1050. As for the move from 990 to 1050, let me sum it up this way - I use a 990, and prior to it I had a 950 that in turn replaced a 1050. Making a jump directly from 1050 to 990 would be a very fun upgrade.
