Just received my Outlaw 1070 smile and have Onix Rocket speakers (RS750 x4 and a RSC200) on order.

The Rocket RS750s have a 6 ohm impedance and the RSC200 has a 4 ohm impedance.

Noted the impedance selector on the back panel of the 1070 has two choices, 4 or 8 ohms. Which setting do I choose?

Thankyou for your time.

Thanks for your replies.

I currently have a M&K V-125 and a Klipsch KSW-10 (...please restrain yor laughter) that will be proviving the bass until the income tax refund can finance a SVS sub.

I've got the 750s, 200 and 300 surrounds. They sound great with my Yamaha receiver. Should be getting my new 1070 today... can't wait to swap out the Yamaha and see how good the Rockets sound with the Outlaw. I'll be using their ELT-family sub (shows up on Tuesday) until the UFW-12 finally arrives (hopefully soon).

Finally got the 1070 (long story about FedEx home delivery in our area)... and hooked it up tonight. A little late in the evening by the time I got everything done so I can't really crank it up... (don't want to wake the kids)... but it does sound impressive compared to the Yamaha it replaced. Obviously need to spend a little more time with the setup and surround modes but it's promising so far.

Hey, guys, new to the forum.

I am considering a 1070 for a new HT. I want to run Magnepan MMgs up front. A MGCC center and MMG-W in the surronds.

Will the 1070 be able to run this set-up?

Thanks for the help.

Though I don't know the size of your room, I would think that system shouldn't be an issue for the 1070. If at a later date you want more power, the 1070 does offer pre-amp outputs to add an external amplifier.

If you do go through with the system, let us know how it sounds. I've been interested in those speaker since they came out. smile
