Need a little Outlaw Hideout help.

For Sunday Pro football, I like to listen to the AM play by play broadcast while watching the game. Currently, I have the 1070 doing the DVI video switching from my HD SAT receiver but when I hit the AM/FM remote button, it blanks out the video?

Is there anyway to get this done on the 1070 without having to go video direct from the SAT reciever to the TV?
