Sorry - let me clarify. The DVD input does have analog stereo inputs, as do all other inputs on the 1070, even though most of us rarely if ever use them. In the case of the 1070, the left and right analog inputs of the 7.1 direct input group are shared with the DVD input (so the DVD's stereo analog inputs are also the two of the eight analog channels of the 7.1 direct input). I'm curious to know if this bass management behavior that you're seeing (namely that the bass management toggle affects stereo analog inputs) is true for all stereo analog inputs or if it is just the stereo analog input that is shared with the 7.1 input. I ask because I would expect the switch to affect the stereo analog input assigned to the DVD input, but I would not expect it to affect all other stereo inputs (based on the way I would expect the bass management switch to work and the way it worked on the Model 950).
