I was looking to see how phono friendly this reciever would be. I did't see anything promising in the manual. Anybody have any thoughts? Just can't let go of my albums yet.

You'll need a phono pre-amp (either MM or MC, depending on the cartridge on your turntable) to run vinyl through the 1070. Once you do that, you can use the stereo bypass mode to pass the analog signal through without any digital processing.
