WOW!!! Got the sub yesterday and I am absolutely thrilled to say the least! Years ago we had two Altec Lansing Studio Monitors (15 1/2" bass speakers) for mains and a Boston Acoustics SW-10 sub. When my wife cranked it up and played "The Way We Were" from the John Williams Boston Pop's album "Unforgettable" the walls and windows would literally shake. Since then she has been less than satisfied with our small system in close quarters. NO MORE. We played the piece with the new set up and it shook a plate off the wall! This 8 inch sub certainly defies conventional thinking. Likewise I played "T. Rex" from Erich Kunzel's "The Great Fantasy Adventure Album" (1994) and the sub produced lows that you literally "felt" more than "heard".
We do like "in your face" bass and this freekin sub really delivers. My wife and I both thank the people who recommended this sub. The Outlaw was even packaged professionally. I would never consider this sub as anything but first rate.
Amen! eek

smile - Sounds like fun times with low frequencies. Thanks for the report!
