Now, do I have my 950 fixed (doesn't respond to the remote) or just sell it as-is?

Um...wow, it's supposed to be delivered tomorrow.

Of course I won't be home. I called Fedex, and they say because of the way Outlaw sets up the delivery I can't release it to be left on my back porch or with a neighbor.

Also, Fedex home delivery is closed on Mondays, so I can't even get it until Tuesday.

What a tease!

Well, apparently my Fedex guy likes me because he left it on my back porch anyway. Result!

So far, I'm quite pleased. The digital audio signal acquisition is blindingly fast compared to the 950. I was completely surprised by the flexibility in assigning inputs - I didn't realize that both the DVI and component inputs could be assigned to any of the inputs.

I also noticed things sounded better - cleaner, "bigger" somehow. I figured it was new-component-itis, but then my wife walked into the living room out of the blue and said, "Wow, is it just me or does that sound better?"
