I recently received my new 990...and I really like it so far. It replaced a Rotel analog 2 channel preamp and a Sony EP9ES digital processor.

I was wondering if there is a way to change the sub levels on the fly with the remote without accessing the OSD menu?

Not all media is created equal...and having the ability to use bass management without accessing the menu was a nice feature of the Sony.

Cheers,
BT

Well....I found a way to do it on my own. Even though it appears that no one cares...I will shatre it anyways.

Just hit the test button on the remote. Hit select twice....and then use the right and left arrows to go to the speaker you want...in this case, the sub. Hit select and hold for a sec or two...and use the up and down arrows to adjust.

It may not be adjustment on the fly...but it's better than calling up the OSD menu when I'm watching HDMI.

Cheers,
BT

Thanks. I have been adjusting the gain on my sub when using different media rather than the OSD but will give this a try.
