I've just purchased a new Pronto Pro. Is there, or does anyone know about, a prontoscript for the 990?

I've collected a few Pronto files for the 990 on my remote files page - you might check those out and see what you think of them, they should be compatible with the Pronto model you are using.

Was really looking for a two way, 232 script to display status on the tsu9600, rather than IR.

An RS232 script? I've not heard of anyone doing it - didn't even know Pronto supported it, though, so it shows what I know about the matter.

I think manufacturers sometimes provide prontoscript files. They can also be user created.

I think only the TSU9400, TSU9600, and the soon to be releasedTSU9800 support this with the RFX9400 and RFX9600 receivers (with 4 232 ports, IR ports, and power sesing ports).

Check out the new pronto pros. They are wifi and can do some really cool things over ip and 232. I think they fill the place in the market between crestron/amx and programable remotes.

I was going to ask if you'd looked at Remote Central\'s file area , but it looks like there's still a limited selection there.
