I haven't been in the "saloon" in awhile. I see there's new firmware....

I posted this last year:

Does the latest firmware fix this?

Does it also allow you to boost (and cut) the sub in two channel modes?

Have any of you noticed anything negative about switching? Anything postitive?

My 990 sounds fine (other than the need to switch the sub level). If anything, I think the previous version of firmware (what they're shipped with) sounded even better (in 2ch). That's why I'm hesitate to switch. Thanks

I don't know the answer to all of your questions but I checked last night and you definitely cannot boost the sub level for two channel. It's still cut only.
