Hi,
I have a very simple question, regarding my sat box inputs. Currently, I have both analogue and an optical input, from my sat box to the 990. Is there any reason, need or advantage for having both?

I only have a optical running from my sat box to the 990. No problems ever. I see no reason to have both and can't think of an advantage.

thanks for the response. I can't remember my reasoning for adding the analogue inputs, unless it was for my headphone amp. I need them now for another purpose.

If you want to run "Zone 2" you have to use an analog input.
