Anyone using both or either of these with the 990? Looking to do a speaker upgrade sometime this year and this is one of the choices.

Well I'll answer my own question. Got a pair of the SVS MTS-01 's yesterday and I am in 2 channel heaven. Great combo of these speakers and with the 990. Haven't done any real movie or multichannel listening yet but music has never sounded so good. Probably will replace all speakers with the rest of this series (MBS-01's and an MCS-01) before the end of the year.

I couldn't wait, went out this week and got the SVS MCS_01 center speaker and a pair of the SVS MBS-01's for surrounds to complete the system.
I have never heard my system sound so good. The 990/7700 combo is great for driving these speakers
