Everything was normal Saturday morning before work then when I got home that night...strange things were happening with my 990. I no longer have an amber stand by light. When I turned my 990 on I no longer had anything in the LCD window. I have done the reset...by pulling the power plug as well as enter/menu button at the same time.I made sure the little operation/service switch was in the right position. I get the LCD back by doing the reset but no amber light. As soon as I touch the volume knob, I lose the LCD again. Anyone with any ideas

I'd give Outlaw a call. Do you have sound and video at the 990's outputs?

Other than what I described, everything seems to be working as normal. I only use 2 inputs, 1 for my cable box and 1 for my Oppo.

I guess the other troubleshooting thing you could try is reloading the firmware, but past that I'd look to Outlaw for suggestions...

Talked with Outlaw today...Looks like my 990 will be taking a trip. Oh well, bottom line is that Outlaw will make it right...In the big pic that is all that really matters to me.
