Wont output any video! This is UNREAL! I ordered a B-stock originally. I got it, the unit worked for 3 or 4 days and it stopped outputting sound but had video. 16 days later I get this replacement B-stock unit. I plug it all in today (Missing Power cable on top of it!) and I can't get the OSD to come up! I am so annoyed its not even funny. I tried a master reset, I tried plugging my projector directly into my Sat box to see if it was the project. Sure enough I get a picture. Do these guys really test this stuff before it leaves the door?! Come on man! This entire deal is leaving a bad taste in my mouth. I bought 10 Model 2200's and a B-stock 990. jesus H christ I should have just got an A-stock to begin with UGH! I think for all the frustration they should at least send me a new one this time .. This is BS! confused mad :rolleyes: frown

Do you have any S-Video inputs into the 990? Cause on page 11 in the manual it says: "If both S-Video and Composite video signals are input into the Model 990, the OSD can be viewed only through the S-Video output jack." Hope this helps.

Oh, I misunderstood I thought you just could not see the OSD (On Screen Display), but it appears that you cannot see any video, is that right?

Hello Outlawnut,

Let's talk on Monday in the AM, your experience is very upsetting to me. I will make sure this is taken care of the right way, right away.

He will...

I'll be curious to hear your thoughts on the Paradigm Signature speakers - my old v2 Studios have been great speakers, only recently replaced by Outlaw speakers in the front.

Another thing to try;

Are you sure you have the input signal routed correctly for each input?

Disconnect all of your s-video connections, leaving just comp out and see if you get the OSD. Then correctly adjust each video input for the source (comp, DVI, etc) thru the OSD.

Than the Studio v2's? Yes, actually. The Paradigms are still mighty fine speakers, but at some point in the next few months I'll be selling them because the BLS/LCR combo are here to stay. I've got a review of them on my site.

Nah, just bi-wired. Got the TMC speaker cables off Audiogon many years ago and have just stuck with bi-wiring on the front three.
