Or you could take care of it yourself by editing your profile.

Click the (admittedly rather tiny) my profile link at the top of the page to access your profile. In there you can set your offset from GMT.

I suppose our UK readers (surely we have one or two out there?) rather like the GMT setting. Personally, I'd rather the world standardized on a single time zone, but that's another rant for another time...
