I just purchased a 990/7500 combo and it should arrive later this week. For video, i will be using a Dish Network ViP722 HD-DVR and a Samsung BD-P1400 Blu-Ray.

In a different posting, a gunslinger suggested I hook the Blu-Ray player directly to the projector and then use the 5.1 analog out on the BD player to the 990 for sound. As for the Dish HD-DVR, should that be hooked up directly to the projector as well (with a coax or optical cable to the 990 for sound)?

Here's my dilema. When I planned the room, I intended to buy an A/V reciever with HDMI switching, so before I sealed up the walls, I only ran one HDMI cable to the area where the projector will be. the questions is, can I hook the above equipment up properly with only one HDMI cable running to the projector, or will I need to fish another cable through the ceiling? Couldn't I hook the Blue-Ray and HD-DVR up to the 990's two DVI inputs using HDMI/DVI cables and then use a DVI adapter to hook the existing HDMI cable up to the 990's DVI out? Would I lose the 1080p from the Blu-Ray? Please help. Thanks.

Great, thanks Hullguy. I'm glad I won't have to run a new cable.
