I have only owned my 990 for about a week now, and the other day I played Eric Kunzl's EPICS SACD through my 990 and Adcom GFA-7605 (5-channel) and AMC 2100 (2-channel) amplifiers, and I was AMAZED at how good the sound was. There are some great orchestral pieces of music on this disc, and it seemed like they were all right there playing in my family room, especially those kettle drums, WOW!

Thank you, Outlaw Audio, for allowing me to finally make the jump to separates. It has made a world of difference in my system. And thanks to all you fellow "Outlaws" who provide help through this forum on a daily basis, which leads me to this question, how do I go about listing my current HT setup in my forum replies?

Click on "my profile" near the top of the page (just under the "post new topic" button). Then click "edit profile" near the top of the profile page. About half-way down that page (under "Profile Fields") you will find a place to create your signature. All formatting options that exist in regular posts (links, bold, italics, ...) work the same way for the sig. Before you select the "Update Profile" button at the bottom of the page, make sure the "Check 'Show Signature' by default?" box is selected at the bottom of the page so that your sig will be automatically added to your posts.

Gonk, everytime I try to click "Update Profile" it gives me a message that I have too many characters. It only allows 250, and I'm running somewhere around 350. I know for a fact that there are many more individuals out there with more stuff in their signatures than I have. Any suggestions?

You will need to pare it back a bit. My sig has around 1375 characters total (including spaces, links, and formatting), but only around 239 characters (including spaces) visible.
