How exactly do you transfer the warranty on a product from one owner to the next?

The warranty follows the serial number, I believe. I'm pretty sure that the new owner just needs to tell Outlaw what the serial number is if warranty work is required. Both times I've sold Outlaw products I've e-mailed them to let them know in case they wanted it for their records, but I don't think it was necessary.

I purchased a 7500 amp used on Audiogon. The seller must have contacted Outlaw to alert them of the sale, because I received an email from the Outlaw Billing Department with a $0.00 invoice detailing the warranty transfer to my name for the particular product and serial number. It was extremely professional, and gave me the feeling that Outlaw *really* stands behind the product, and cares about ensuring things are done properly.
