Can the crossover of my subwoofer be adjusted on the 990. (Example 40, 50 60hz etc.) I only found that I can change the LFE setting to LFE, LFE+Sub, Yes or None. Also I can change the db's
What is a good reference setting for the db's?
I can only leave the LFE setting on if I have my mains set to large. I really like to listen to my music cd's in two channel without the sub but with the mains set to large the sub is playable.

There isn't a subwoofer crossover setting on the 990 because it is derived from the other crossovers. In other words, you have the LFE track (if there is one), and the 990 adds low frequency from other channels based on those channels' crossover settings (such as everything below 60Hz from the fronts, everything below 80Hz from the center, and everything below 100Hz from the surrounds if those were the crossover settings used).

Thanks for explaining this so clearly, gonk. Too bad I called tech support just a few minutes ago with this very question, and Edward and I confused each other for several minutes before we finally understood.
