I am having a problem with Itunes and my 990. When I try to play the music, it comes through the computer speakers, but not my audio system via my 990 USB. I would love to find out how to correct this.

Also, how do I check my 990 to see what my current version of firmware is and what is the latest version of the firmware?

Press Select and Input on the front panel at the same time, while the 990 is in Standby mode.

Latest version is 3.11, with either an 03, or 04 following the version.

How do you have the 990 set up? Do you have an input configured with the USB input assigned to it? Also, what kind of computer are you using? It should detect the 990 as a USB audio device when connected, at which point the 990 becomes a USB sound card for all intents and purposes.

Thank you for the info. Somehow when the computer rebooted, it is now working fine. Thanks for the tip. I do have the current software.

Cool. Probably a case of the computer not seeing the USB device - it's possible that even just unhooking and reconnecting the USB cable at either end would have caused it to re-acquire the device.
