To go along with the upgrade of my new TV and Oppo DVD player I also got an MX-850 to replace the MX-700 I'm giving to my parents.

I did get the software with the MX-850 and the only database codes it has is for the 950. Will they control the 990 or do I have to go the Learning route.

EDIT: Nevermind - besides the 950 there was a generic "Outlaw 1" listed in the database and it looks like it is for the 990.

It may take some customizing of the setup to get the 990 dialed in just right. You may be best off hitting the "remotes codes" in my link and grabbing some of the 990 config files. They were mostly made for the 700, but the 750, 800, and 850 all use the same basic software and the files are interchangeable.
