I have just recieved my 7125 back from warranty repair (2 channels had gone out). I re-connected the system but got no sound. I have a directV and DVD hooked up with the input config as before. Curiously I do get a test tone from all speakers (the repair seems fine) I get the word "Digital" on the 990 display and if I pull the digital connector it begins to blink; telling me its getting a signal (?). Its the same for both SAT and DVD, changing the audio inputs and re-config. did not help. I also tried an analog input to no avail. Could this be something very simple?
Any suggestions on what I should do next? I've contacted support, but its a weekend and I had big plans for the system tonight.

Thanks
mikerando

The first thing that I'd check is the headphone output. I haven't ever tried the system test tones under those circumstances to see if they still work, but otherwise what you describes sounds exactly like having the headphone output engaged. If the mute button has gotten held down for several seconds, the red speaker indicator to the right of the input display will go out, the pre-amp outputs will shut down, and the headphone jack will be engaged.
