Did he send an e-mail, or did he use their
support page ? I ask because I believe the support page was set up as a replacement for a generic support e-mail address. Having said that, I would expect that anybody in Outlaw's service team could offer some useful information about this, but as your buddy likely knows there is going to be some uncertainty (possibly a lot) in the answer without Outlaw having the unit on the bench to test - an electrical storm can do a little damage, or it can do a
lot of damage. The cost associated with replacing a power supply would be a lot different from the cost associated with replacing the power supply and one or more main boards.
